Michael J Fox Bio: Michael
Andrew Fox was born June 9, 1961, in Edmonton, Alberta (he later adopted
the "J" as a tribute to character actor Michael J. Pollard).
Since his father, William Fox, was an army official, the family moved
around a lot during Michael's early childhood. They settled near
Vancouver, British Columbia, when William retired in 1966. About the
constantly changing settings, Michael said that an "army brat"
must "either find a way to get attention or become a
wallflower." Of course, he chose the former. |
